Shelton officially became incorporated in 1889 and has been growing ever since. This is a Tree community! Logging and milling are a wonderful part of its history. There is the annual Logging show, Forest Festival Parade, Oyster Fest and the Mason county fair ever summer. Shelton is also the county seat of mason county. Major shopping and eating are all apart of this cities culture. A landmark city you can visit, especially in summer!
