Yellow Island Preserve, Washington State


Yellow Island Preserve is an island in Washington State. It is part of the San Juan island chain of land masses. It is now owned by the Nature Conservancy and maintained as a study area. It is home to over 50 species of native wildflowers in spring and summer. It is admired by ferry travelers for its scenic natural beauty. A rare treat of nature!
