The Boy and his Dog is a bronze statue on the main street in Langley, Washington on Whidbey Island. It is part of the San Juan Islands. I have visited there so many times, and on each visit I'm finding myself standing looking at the view, just like I was also a statue. The entire town is quaint and so charming. In the summer months, many festivals, art openings and great outdoor cafes line the streets. This makes a great day trip for all ages. It is on my list of most favorite destinations.
